“Sunshine Pop Ep1” is the brand new EP by the Spanish band THE YELLOW MELODIES, the first one of three EPs that will be released all along 2020 with Discos Imprescindibles. Each EP will include four own songs and a cover of an artist or band they admire. The one included in EP1 is Scott Walker’s «Jackie», a timeless original classic written by Jacques Brel, epic and dazzling, with a Spanish flavour. The 3rd EP will coincide with the release of an album which will be released on vinyl by the Spanish Hurrah! Musica and on CD by the Canadian label The Beautiful Music. The album will feature the songs from their EPs except for the covers. ‘Sunshine Pop Ep1’ is a remarkable collection of vital songs which stand out for their bright arrangements and for their harmonies of heavenly amplitude very close to perfection. Brilliant melodies, a hedonistic attitude and above all, a lot of pop, charmingly sophisticated pop. Limited edition of only 100 copies!
