Tras el éxito cosechado con su reciente EP «Sunshine Pop Ep1», y mientras se cocinan el Ep2 y el Ep3, THE YELLOW MELODIES nos sorprenden con un nuevo single titulado «We all deserve a chance», en vinilo 7″ de color amarillo y edición limitada y numerada a mano en el magnífico sello griego Old Bad Habits. Ahora nos llega este nuevo single con tres canciones exclusivas: el tema que da título al siete pulgadas, “We all deserve a chance”, es todo un hit de europop bailable con una magnífica melodía y un estribillo arrollador, un cruce entre McCARTHY y PET SHOP BOYS. Por la cara B tenemos dos extraordinarias canciones: “Silhouette in blue”, que saca a relucir el lado más guitarrero del grupo, a lo TEENAGE FANCLUB; mientras que “Once upon a time” tiene un delicioso aire folk que puede recordar a THE BYRDS. “Just a few weeks after the success achieved with their recent «Sunshine Pop Ep1», and while they’re preparing Ep2 and Ep3, THE YELLOW MELODIES are back with a new EP entitled «We all deserve a chance», on a yellow 7” vinyl, a limited and hand-numbered one on the magnificent Greek label, Old Bad Habits. “We all deserve a chance” is their new single, with three exclusive songs: the title track is a fantastic Europop hit with a catchy tune and a great chorus, somewhere between McCARTHY and PET SHOP BOYS. On the B side there are two extraordinary songs: “Silhouette in blue”, which offers a slight crunchy guitar sound that reminds us of TEENAGE FANCLUB; while “Once upon a time” has a delicious folk vibe that may be reminiscent of THE BYRDS.
