Even despite the band split up officially last December 2006, Jenny answered our questions...

1. The new issue of this fanzine will come out in some days, and I was checking your website to make an interview, and surprisingly I read that you split up, it was so sad to read that... Are you going to give an explanation to your fans someday?
It was a complicated situation. I don't think we will ever explain further than that.

2. I suppose, or well, I try to guess the reasons why you split up, could it be anything related to different musical projects or ideas, or could it be just personal problems? The reason you gave for your gig cancellations in Summer 2006 was the illness of someone in the band? was that true? did she get over that? was there another reason?
She is doing a lot better.

3. I was in that Benicassim Festival gig in Spain, on 22th July, was that a good moment for the band?
It was a great honour to play and just be invited to play.

4. How was your experience in the Benicassim Festival? How did you find the spanish audience?
The spanish audience was great. I wish that we'd had the opportunity to play more shows in Spain, or to spend more time there. It is a very beautiful country and we absolutely loved the weather and many of the people we met. The oranges were delicious.

5. Can you name your favourite band from each decade?
Answering questions like these has always been problematic for me because I understand that something that I strongly like doesn't make it the "best" and I often feel wrong stating in an interview that "such and such was the best band of the 19_ _'s", but here is a sample of stuff that I think is important and that I enjoy. (qualifier: when I was little, I had several major lung infections. All I could do was sit in my room and listen to my radio. For some reason I listened to the oldies station)
Favourite of the 50s:  WILLE MAE (BIG MAMA) THORNTON, BIG JOE TURNER, BILL HALEY AND HIS COMETS (because you can't deny that “Rock around the clock” as being a major breakthrough), ETTA JAMES, CHUCK BERRY, ELVIS PRESLEY, LITTLE RICHARD, JERRY LEE LEWIS, BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETS, FATS DOMINO, BO DIDDLEY, GENE VINCENT, THE EVERLY BROTHERS, and JOAN BAEZ.

6. As almost no-one lives on music nowadays, what do you usually do in a normal day? which are your hobbies?
Hahaha. Some people do, but not me. I work in a textile house selling cloth.

7. What are Shelby, Katie, Shmoo, Debbie and Jenny doing at this moment? what do you usually do in a normal day? any new musical projects?
Personally, I am not doing anything worth mentioning here and now. The other girls are working and taking a break from music for a while. There will be new musical projects eventually. I can guarantee that much.

8. Which are your projects and plans for 2007?
We have no official plans. It's great.
